Japan Carbon Steel Export Drops by 4.8% in May
Japanese carbon steel export decreased by 4.8% to 2.016 million tonnes in May from a year earlier, representing decreases for 6 consecutive months, announced by Japan Iron and Steel Federation on Monday. The number increased by 8.8%, which was first increase in 2 months. The export decreased by 8.3% to 10.285 million tonnes in January-May from the same period of 2004.
