Nippon Steel Reorganizes Processing Maker of Regular Wire Rod to Secure Competitive Ability
Nippon Steel reorganizes the associated company of the regular wire rod enterprise. Around October, this year, the firm unifies the wire rod section of Hokkai Koki, Tomakomai factory of Nakayama Mitsuboshi Steel Products and Muroran factory of Sato Seisen, and will establish the new company led by Nippon Steel in Hokkaido area. Nippon Steel collects the manufacturing base in Hokkai Koki and Nakayama Mitsuboshi steel products, and close Muroran factory of Sato Seisen. In Tohoku area, Sato Seisen group is made into a core as before. Nippon Steel demonstrates predominancy with the regular wire rod enterprise, and secures the leadership in market.
