ERDOS Targets World No.1 Ferroalloy Complex
World no.1 cassimere supplier, Erdos Group based in Eerdousi, Inner Mongolia of China targets world no.1 ferroalloy suppliers with the 17 billion yuan of project. The firm operates annual 500,000 tonnes of ferrosilicon output capacity by 2006 selling 700,000 tonnes including outsourced ferrosilicon. The firm also produces 200,000 tonnes of silicomanganese by joint ventures, of which one with JFE Steel and Mitsui & Co. starts operation in 2005 and the firm plans another with Chinese firm. The firm will export 50% of the ferrosilicon and silicomanganese. The firm supplies the products stably getting long-term contract with users in Japan and South Korea in and after August.
