Japan Steel Export Drops by 2.4% to 34.3M tonnes in Fiscal 2004
Japanese steel export decreased by 2.4% to 34.301 million tonnes in fiscal 2004 ended March 2005 from previous year, announced by Ministry of Finance on Thursday. The value increased by 24.7% to 2.673 trillion yen. The steel import increased by 24.5% to 7.54 million tonnes. The value increased by 65.8% to 686.125 billion yen.
