World no.1 ferroniobium supplier, CBMM of Brazil introduces a new refining electric furnace at Araxa plant in Minas Gerais of Brazil for around 1.5 billion yen starting operation in October. The firm expects the expansion increases the annual ferroniobium output by 2,000-3,000 tonnes to 47,000-48,000 tonnes. The new refinery improves the quality. The firm strengthens supply chain from upper stream to just-in-time delivery toward the goal to stabilize supply including price when the demand increases in China and India.
