Nippon Steel Corporation, NSC examines a new long-term receipt contract to expand the amount of the coke purchase taking the opportunity of the reproduction support of Mitsui Mining that invests about 4.4 billion yen. NSC will reduces the spot ratio of the imported external procurement coke from China, and stabilizes a long term. NSC continuously examines the new establishment of the coking furnace in Oita Iron Works. The productive capacity of the coking furnace on NSC because of the superannuation, The firm switch external procurement to a long-term contract centering on the expansion of its own production, and secure a necessary amount of it for a long term and stably.
