Coated Steel Price to Reach 100,000 yen in Tokyo
Coated steel price increasing in Tokyo under tight supply and price hike by integrated steel makers. Standard sized coated steel price increased by 3,000 yen per tonne in a month and hot coil based electro-galvanizing steel price increased to 96,000-97,000 yen for products with 1.6-2.3 millimeters of thick. The price could reach 100,000 yen when local distributors try to pass higher cost price on their selling price.
