Price Structure of Stainless Steel in Asia to have been Distorted
The distortion is caused in the price structure of 300 faction stainless steel sheet in East Asia. As for the export price by Japanese maker for Hong Kong in April shipping, that price of the cold rolled stainless steel is 2700 - 2800 dollar per tonne (SUS304, coil base, and C&F), and of the hot coil is 2500 - 2600 dollars. The price difference between the price of the hot and cold sheet with 300 - 400 dollars one year ago contracts up to 200 dollars, and reaches the limit price difference of Re-roller. The supply and demand of the cold rolled sheet is not caused to become tight because the operation to which the cold rolling plant in China comes one after another, while the hot rolled sheet is remarkably stringent.
