Export of Ferrous Scrap in 2004 was 6.814 Million Tonnes
The export of ferrous scrap in 2004 was 6.814 million tonnes, and it exceeded the record at 6.15 million tonnes in 2001 according to Ministry of Finance. The export on December 2004 increased by 5% from the previous month to 640,000 tonnes. It was the result of greatly updating the amount level; Last December's ferrous scrap export was a high level following 680,000 tonnes in March 2004 and 660,000 tonnes in April 2004 though it had already reached 6.17 million tonnes for the first time of December.
