Virtual consumption of steel product of 25 countries rise by 4.9%
According to global iron and steel forecast for supply and demand that Japan Iron and Steel Federation announced on 20th, 2005 virtual consumption of steel product in 25 countries and 1 area increases by 4.9% from the previous year to 919 million tonnes. Crude steel output increases by 6.2% to 950 million tonnes. Though increase ratio slows down compared with 2004, consumption and production increase while economy of each countries is rising by over 3%. Rate of increase of Chinese consumption keeps 9.4%, and it reaches to 340 million tonnes. Crude steel output of China increases by 14.8% to 310 million tonnes.
