Asia Welding Federation to Start
Asia Welding Federation (AWF) started recently, it aims at the establishment of the improvement of the welding technology and welding worker's attestation system, and it aims at the international standard making etc. that reflect needs of Asia. Ten countries join. Takashi Miyata and the professor of Nagoya University (chairman of the Japan Welding Engineering Society) assume the position of the founder chairman. The headquarters is being opened in Japan.
