Steel Sheet Market in Tokyo is Increasing Vigor
Steel sheet market condition in Tokyo is increasing vigor, the cold-rolled steel sheet market price is above 80,000 yen per tonne, and the surface treatment steel sheet (electric galvanizing) market price goes into a field of view at 90,000 yen per tonne. There is the voice by the market persons concerned that it is anxious about the embarrassment to the shortage of material and the influence of the selling side by jump from a price.

Steel Sheet market condition is deployment of an across-the-board price increase. Especially, the pickling steel sheet of a supply-and-demand tight feeling is strong, the cold-rolled steel sheet influenced of pickling, and the surface treatment steel sheet with which it was postponed by the formal rise in the second half of fiscal this year, went up much more around October especially.

Consequently, In the fixed size sheet in market price, the pickling steel sheet broke through 80,000 yen, and took the lead 85,000 yen, and, as for the cold-rolled steel sheet is 78,000 yen, the surface treatment steel sheet went into the view at 90,000 yen in this year.

Blast furnace makers, such as Nippon Steel, had the price increase by 5,000 yen per tonne after shipping October. Distributors is a posture which lays a increasing price immediately. It is expected that the supply curtailment for the markets by the maker become strong. There is the view in market "the peak of tight-izing will be in January - March next year".

Tokyo Steel pulled up the selling price in November, and expanded the price spread between the pickling steel sheet and the hot-rolled-steel sheet by 10,000 yen per tonne. Although distributors bewildered by the spread and steep price increase, if it is in a short state, they say, "It cannot but make a selling point of a price which added cost."
