Ferrous scrap purchase price continues to increase to 26,500 yen
Ferrous scrap purchase price by electric furnaces steel manufactures in Tokyo area continues to increase to 26,500 yen per tonne for H2. It rises by 6,500 yen (32.5%) from the middle of September, the latest lowest price. It is on the ground that blast furnaces and electric furnaces steel manufactures increased orders of new cut scrap and HS and FAS boosted.

Tokyo steel Utsunomiya Works hiked the purchase price for special grade by 2,000 yen to 27,500 yen. Scrap shipping price from Western Japan increased to FAS 29,500 yen per tonne.
